J. Scott Brady

Attorney Brady has been practicing law for just over 30 years handling almost solely litigation. He has experience handling personal injury and disability claims. These personal injury claims range from automobile cases, construction accidents, defective premises cases, defective machinery cases, slip and fall and dog bite cases. He has also handled thousands of workers' compensation cases. He has handled both sides, representing individuals who have been hurt, and the people or companies they have made claims against. As he knows how the other side is preparing their case, he knows what needs to be done on both sides. He has also helped hundreds of people get or keep their disability benefits through social security or private insurance policies.

At Penn State University, he was a resident assistant and a member of the boxing team. He has a degree in labor studies and economics. Attorney Brady received a Juris Doctorate from the University of Seattle School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. He is a frequent lecturer to other attorneys on topics such as trial law, automobile law and handling workers' compensation and disability cases.

He is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association where he is the chairman of the Rules Committee. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

In his free time, he enjoys fly fishing and photography and is a past president of Trout Unlimited. He is also an avid weight lifter and likes to ride his bicycles and motorcycle and travel off the beaten path to hike, fish and take photos.
